Bridge: Maths Refresher
https://epochschool.com/subjects/bridge-math
A short refresher in algebra and functions, single-variable calculus, vectors and matrices at school level, and basic probability, so that Semester 1's mathematics lands on firm ground.
No graded labs; in-browser exercises check every step.
Machine learning mathematics is built from a small set of school-level tools, used constantly. This refresher rebuilds them in four chapters: algebra and functions, including exponentials, logarithms and summation notation; derivatives, and finding the maximum or minimum of a function of one variable; vectors and matrices; and probability basics. Every idea is practised on small numerical examples, so that Linear Algebra & Calculus for ML and Probability & Statistics for ML can begin at full pace instead of pausing to revise. If you can differentiate a product and multiply a matrix by a vector without looking anything up, you can skip it.

How it’s taught
You read short sections written for the page. Each ends with a check, and in-browser exercises let you practise. There are no graded labs in the bridge.
